Academy of Holistic Healing Arts (AHHA) provides professional education for Chinese medicine practitioners and final year students. Our training programmes in Chinese Herbal Medicine challenge the way practitioners study and develop, and expose you to insights, skills and inspiration for truly transformational learning, and successful practice.
We carefully design our programmes to offer you a practical systematic approach to learning herbs. We aim high to enable you to become a more effective, independent and confident practitioner who achieves consistent and predictable results. We know it won’t happen if you learn to apply herbal medicine relying on memorising herbs and copying formulas. Helping others is a great responsibility which requires deep understanding and solid reasoning.
Aspiring for the classical vision of the upper-level practitioner, we put emphasis on the essential principles of Chinese medicine. This way we secure the foundation which all knowledge and successful practice can be built on. We take you step by step from the basics that are rooted in Chinese philosophical and medical classics, to developing firm understanding of physiology and pathology, to mastering the diagnosis and the art of herbalism.
We are honoured to be transmitting an elegant, clear and powerful approach which comes from the lineage of Dr Yaron Seidman, a disciple of Huai Xuan and the founder of Hunyuan teachings. The foundational theory and the style of herbalism that we teach in our programmes stem from the Shang Han Lun as taught by Zheng Qinan, the originator of Huo Shen Pai (Fire Spirit school), himself an early disciple of Huai Xuan.

Marina is a Chinese Medicine practitioner passionate about applying the classical knowledge to the modern day clinical challenges, and specialising on difficult-to-treat chronic conditions.
In the process of her TCM training, she realised that it is only by integrating Chinese medicine’s classical teachings that she can develop her practice to its highest potential. Since then she has been pursuing the path of the Classical Chinese Herbalism. The foundational theory and the style of herbalism that she applies and teaches stem from Shang Han Lun as taught by Zheng Qinan, the Fire Spirit School originator.
As a Chinese Medicine educator, Marina founded Academy of Holistic Healing Arts to give other practitioners an option to study in the way that was transformational to her knowledge and practice. She delivers just that at her signature Chinese Herbal Medicine Certification programme. Marina is appreciated for her inspirational and concise teaching style, the clarity and the clinical relevance of the material, and the support her students can rely on.
Marina also holds a degree in Law. Before she discovered Chinese medicine she had enjoyed a successful international career in corporate business.
A 30-years holistic medicine practitioner and founder of the Hunyuan balancing system, Tai Chi and Qi Gong teacher, Huai Xuan heart healing 6th generation practitioner, author, educator, innovator of the Hunyuan Fertility Method, a husband, father and a passionate champion of all things promoting health, happiness and longevity. According to Dr Seidman, peak health is achieved through exercising the body, recharging unification, restoring heart harmony and cultivating relationships.
For 7 years, Dr Seidman was a private student of the Tai Chi master Feng Zhiqiang and for 12 years indoor student of Liu Bogu, lineage holder of the Huai Xuan school and the great grandson of Liu Yuan.
Louis is a Chinese medicine practitioener and teacher with 40+ years of experince in both acupuncture and herbal medicine. He practices and teaches at his clinic in Lund, Sweden.
Louis got his undergraduate education in Chinese medicine and acupuncture in China and Sweden, and studied Chinese herbal medicine in Denmark, England and China.
